Planning Your Batch

(from Liz) Guiding questions: - What are my end of batch goals? What are the next 1-3 steps towards those goals? - confidence in coding - PixieReport - better orientation toward job search

- How am I staying accountable? Do I thrive off of feedback? Do I need a to-do list or whiteboard? - pairing helps - maybe checking in with staff - what is accountable?

- How important is heads down work vs. collaborative work to me? How much time am I spending on each of those things? - collaborative work is very important to me - so maybe 50/50 would be good

- When do I have the most social energy or focused energy? How can I structure my day around that energy? - I don't know yet what my ideal energy cycle is - I am adding music and naps when needed

- Am I leaving enough room for serendipity/unexpected turns in the road? - probably so, have oriented already toward who's around - am I leaving too much?

- Do I want to try something new, or do I have a work style that makes me really effective? - I don't understand?

- How did last week feel for you? Was there anything missing? What would you keep, and what would you change? - a good first week! the culture and attitude reinforcement was good

- If this is feeling overwhelming, start with: what am I going to do after this meeting? After that? etc.
